Video KletsTerms of Use
Video Klets connects you with strangers for live video and text chat, one-on-one and in groups. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Video Klets.
1. You must be 18 or older
Video Klets is for adults only. By starting a chat or joining a group you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. When you create an account you give your date of birth; giving a false date of birth breaks these terms. We block anyone we believe is under 18, together with their account and IP address.
2. What you may not do
- Show nudity, sexual acts or sexually explicit material.
- Involve, show or refer sexually to anyone under 18 in any way. We report this to the authorities.
- Harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone.
- Post hate speech or attack people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
- Show violence, self-harm, weapons used to threaten, or illegal drugs.
- Record, screenshot or share another person's video, voice or messages without their consent.
- Spam, advertise, sell, or send people to other sites or services.
- Pretend to be someone else, or ask for money, passwords or personal details.
- Break any law, or try to disrupt, overload or hack the service.
3. Strangers are strangers
You talk to people you do not know. We cannot check who they are or control what they show or say. Do not share your full name, address, phone number, workplace or other personal details. Leave a chat with Next or the close button whenever you are uncomfortable.
Other users could record their screen without your knowledge. We forbid this, but we cannot technically prevent it.
4. Accounts
You can use Video Klets without an account. If you create one with Google sign-in, you choose a username that other users see. It must not impersonate anyone, contain hate speech or profanity, or suggest you are under 18. When you register you also state your gender (female or male). It is used for the gender filters in Random Video Chat and you cannot change it yourself; giving a false gender, or creating extra accounts to get around filters, breaks these terms.
Your profile (bio and interests) follows the same rules, with no links, contact details, other apps' usernames or advertising. Blocking someone keeps them away from you but is not a report: use Report when someone breaks the rules.
Keep your Google account secure: you are responsible for what happens under your username. We may remove usernames and profile text that break these rules and block accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
5. Groups and video rooms
Registered users can create text groups and video rooms. If you create one, you are responsible for its name and description, which must follow these terms. Public groups are listed for everyone; private groups can only be joined with their invite link. Anyone can join a text group: without an account you appear as "Anonymous". Video rooms are for registered users.
Messages in groups follow the same rules as every other chat and are checked the same way. We may close or delete any group, and remove anyone from it, at any time.
Watch parties are private groups where everyone watches the same YouTube video. The host chooses the video and is responsible for it: it must follow these terms and YouTube's, and must be a video the host is allowed to share. Only the host controls playback. Watch parties are deleted after a week without activity.
GIFs come from KLIPY and follow the same rules as messages. Do not use them to harass anyone.
6. Reporting
Use Report to report someone. In a random chat, reporting ends the chat; in a group you choose the person and stay in the group. Each report saves the details of the session (see the Privacy Policy) so that we can review it.
7. Enforcement
Chats and groups are checked automatically, by a word filter and by an AI model, for hate speech, harassment, sexual harassment, sexual content involving minors, people under 18, self-harm, threats, scams and sharing personal information. When someone reports a video call or room for a minor, nudity or sexual harassment, a still image of the reported person is checked together with the chat. A flagged message may not be delivered, and depending on the result its sender may be disconnected or banned straight away (see the Privacy Policy).
Automatic decisions include: anyone who appears to be under 18 is banned, with their account and IP address; anyone who appears to be an adult and solicits or carries on inappropriately with someone under 18 is banned too; full nudity on camera is a ban; a confirmed report of a minor, nudity or sexual harassment is a ban. If you believe a decision was wrong, email support@videoklets.com with the time it happened and a person will review it.
We may disconnect, suspend or permanently block anyone who breaks these terms, with or without warning. Where the law requires it, or where someone may be in danger, we may share information with the police or other authorities.
8. No guarantees
Video Klets is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, that you will be matched with anyone, or that calls will connect. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what other users say or show, or for any loss that comes from using the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version date above and ask you to accept the new version before your next chat.
10. Law and contact
Video Klets is operated by Easthood Mogul. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute.
